NEWS: Ore announced among presenters for The Royal Wedding
This is one party no one’s going to want to miss, it’ll be such a privilege to be right in the heart of it. Let’s be honest, an invite to the Royal Wedding was never on the cards…despite the relentless barrel-scraping of our mailbox! But bringing the celebrations to life for the millions of flag-waving fans at home will feel just as special.
And this won’t be a weekend to remember just for the Royalists. The British Public has an extraordinary affinity for Prince Harry, just as they do for his older brother William. We’ve grown up with them, watched them live through tragedy and been so proud as they’ve developed into national role models, twin sources of inspiration for so many.
So like his brother before him, the swell of support for Harry on his big day will be palpable. It’ll be the kind of rare occasion that’ll see the whole country unite, whether your house is clad with bunting or it’s just the perfect excuse to sink a few more beers. Either way, you can guarantee our coverage will try to capture just what it means to legions of well-wishers the world over, not least the Royal Family itself.
I know every single one of us playing our part in the production are so honoured to be contributing a small piece of Royal history. I can’t wait to capture those moments that the happy couple – and an audience of billions – will never forget. We look forward to sharing it with you.
Ore will be one of the presenters leading the TV coverage for Harry and Meghan: The Royal Wedding, airing Saturday 19th May from 9am on BBC1. There’ll also be a preview programme the night before looking forward to the big day, The Royal Wedding: They’re Getting Married in the Morning will air at 7pm, BBC1 on Friday 18th May.
