NEWS: Ore returns as host of Strictly Live Tour 2018
From Strictly Champion to Strictly Host, Ore is set to make a sensational return to the ballroom floor in 2018. Donning his bow tie and tails once again, Ore will take over presenting duties when the Strictly Come Dancing Live UK Tour waltzes back on the road in January for 30 super-sized spectacular arena shows across the country.
In another exciting announcement, Ore has been named as the presenter of the first ever Strictly Come Dancing Official Podcast, accompanying the current BBC1 series and providing fans with all the glitz, glamour and gossip behind the glitterball. A brand new addition to the Strictly offering, the official podcast will give listeners the ultimate backstage pass to their favourite show every week. And best of all, it’s completely free!
Ore said: “Winning Strictly was the most unforgettable experience and a dream come true. I’m so thrilled that I get to keep that dream alive and take part in the Strictly live tour once again, this time as host. This show and its fans will always hold a special place in my heart so I can’t wait to travel the UK again and meet the fantastic audiences that make Strictly the phenomenon we know and love.”
“And to host the podcast means not only do I get to stay part of the Strictly Family this year, but we can bring the fans with us every sequinned step of the way.”
The 2018 tour will see Ore joined on stage by the FAB-U-LOUS Strictly Judges Craig Revel-Horwood and Bruno Tonioli, alongside many of the celebrities and professional dancers from the 15th season of Strictly Come Dancing. Opening in Birmingham and ending at London’s O2 Arena, the 30-show spectacular will visit some of the biggest entertainment venues across the UK, including a return to Belfast following huge public demand.
The Strictly Come Dancing Live UK Tour begins on 19th January 2018 at the Birmingham Arena. For more information, including how to get tickets, click here. The first Strictly Come Dancing Official Podcast will be available to download from Monday 25th September 2018. To subscribe, click here.
